Be thou content to plant for now
And leave the rest to Me:
The longed-for harvest comes in time—
Now is not that time for thee.
This “hope deferred” you find so hard
Is neither death nor tomb.
Keep planting in faith right where you are
And in time your plants will bloom.

I am currently in a season of planting and building. And in my head I know this. But I need long patience. Which I do not yet have. My heart loooooongs for the harvest. Now. Or maybe yesterday.

There is a wonderful verse in Galatians that talks about not growing weary as we work. I know that verse applies to my life.

But I am so tired of waiting.

Are you tired of waiting, too?

Let us pray for each other!
